Mustang
Set in a village in northern turkey, five free-spirited teenage girls play about on the beach with male classmates. Thereby a series of events within the family reveal themselves challenging tradition, evoking rebellion, some with tragic circumstances.

Love & Friendship
A period comedy, premiered at the Sundance Festival in 2016 and named after a little known novel by Jane Austen called ‘Susan’. A ruthless portrayal of the snobbery, intrigue, rudeness and gormlessness of the middle classes of the middle classes of the early 19th century.

Eye in the Sky
This taut thriller engages with one of the moral dilemmas thrown up by modern warfare. Can it be legal to execute people from a safe location in a remote country? What might be the collateral damage?

The Third Man
Winner of our Audience Choice vote. A gripping, beautifully paced tour de force set in a bleak period of post war Vienna.

Whiplash
Story about the stormy relationship between an ambitious jazz drummer and his instructor at an elite music conservatory, set in New York. Is the ambition worth the pain? Is the apparent;y heartless teaching the only way?

The Golden Years
A comedy. One their number is in need of expensive medical treatment and on top of that their much loved social club faces closure. The only solution seems to be to indulge in a bit of ‘Robin Hood’ style wealth redistribution, with bank robbery a firm favourite to swell the coffers for this group of elderly friends.
